How I Make Money On the Internet

I’ve spent years researching this topic and I decided I’m going to share everything with you. There are legitimate ways to make money online, and anyone can do it. All of the methods listed here are 100% free, and legitmate. You will not have to pay 1 penny for any of it. So, I hope you enjoy.

Writing Oportunites- There are many places online that will pay you for writing and you don’t have to be an amazing writer. Here are my favorites:

Review Stream- This company will pay you to write reviews on anything you want. The rate changes seldomly, but right now it’s at $2.00 per review. They accept all reviews, and you will get paid for every one. If your review is not really what they are looking for it will be paid the “bulk rate” which is 20% of the regular rate. Right now that is .40. So, at Review Stream, .40 is the least you will make for a review, and you can write as many as you like.

Helium-Helium is my next favorite way to earn money by writing. At Helium, anyone can write. You can make money in several different ways here. They have weekly contests on numerous topics that anyone can enter. The first prize for winning is $75. There are also second, and third prizes. You can also earn here by searching the market place for articles for publishers. You can submit an article, and if yours gets picked, you can earn up to $150, based on what the publisher is paying. The third way to earn money on Helium is by simply writing articles. Anytime someone views an article you’ve written you will earn from it. So, this is a great way to keep income rolling in.  To view a sample article, click the picture, and you can see one of my articles on Helium. You can also sign up for Helium through that link.

Associated Content- This site also pays you to write articles, and anyone can write. The reason I feel like it’s second to Helium is because it’s a little more difficult to get your articles approved there. But, you can earn if someone purchases an article you’ve written, and you also share in commisions when someone views your article.

Epinions.com-Epinions is a site that also pays you for writing reviews. The system is a bit more complicated than Review Stream, but it’s worth a go if you enjoy writing reviews.

Text Broker- Text Broker is a nice way to make money by writing. This site pays you per word. They have requesters, people who are requesting articles, and you can just search through them, and start writing. Right when you sign up, you will be asked to write a short paragraph, where they can evaluate your writing skills, this determines how much you will make per word.

Personal Money Store- This site is looking for article writers, and they will pay upto $25 per article. There is not much info on the site but you can get more info by email cashadvancemom@personalmoneystore.com

Software Jude- This site pays you to write reviews about software, or you can redeem your points for software.

Review Party- On this site you can write reviews, and you earn commision for sales that a made because of the reviews you have written.

Surveys That Actually Pay

Opinion Outpost- Sign up for an account at Opinion Outpost, and they will send you surveys in your email. It’s easy to make money with these, and the minimum payout is very low. You can request payout at $5.00.

Jobs that you can do online- I only know of a couple places that you can work at to earn cash. But, they are a great way to make money:

MTurk- Mturk is a place where you can work to earn money for Amazon gift cards, or cash.  Here, you just do little jobs, like transcribing audio, posting a comment on a blog, or rewriting an article.  There are 100’s of different thinks you can do to earn there, and anyone can sign up.

ChaCha- I am a ChaCha guide as well, and I really enjoy it. This type of job involves searching the internet for answers of questions that are texted into the system. You can make from $3-$7 an hour with this job. If you sign up to be a guide there, please use this email as a referral, muchregrets@yahoo.com

Advertising On Blogs- If you have a blog there are ways to monotize it.

Google Adsense- You’ll hear this from some of the most successful bloggers out there, including the Problogger. Adsense is the best way to monetize your blog, especially if you have high traffic. There are many ways to utilize Adsense on your blog, and the newest way is by offering Youtube videos on your blog.

Amazon Affiliates- Becoming an Amazon Affiliate can also help you monetize your blog. You can make your own stores an earn commisions for sales leads. Check out my store here- My Store

So, there you have it.  These are the best ways I know of to earn money on the internet.  I actually expect to update this list pretty soon with some more resources, so come back soon for more ideas, or simply subscribe to my feed, to be automatically updated. Add to Google    Add to My Yahoo!

    Hi Amanda!

Great to have you in our writing community at Helium. I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but since Nov 1 Helium now offers upfront payments in addition to ad revenue share for articles contributed to the site to most channels. You do have to hold onto one rating star to earn, but that only takes 40 attentive rates per 90 days.

We’ve also had some new publishers paying $200 per article in Helium’s Freelance Marketplace http://www.helium.com/marketplace?placement=13060. We now offer kill fees too.

We welcome previously published, non-exclusive content as well. If you or anyone reading this would like the help of a site steward to assist, I can help connect you. Write to me any time: bwhitlock@helium.com

It is nice to have one source for this kind of information. By limiting it to a few locations and posting the facts you have found It can be very helpful as a resource.

    Thanks

I’ve been using mturk for a little while. Its a nice site if you’re bored, but there’s no way you can make an adequate income on it. I’ll be sure to check out some of these other sites. Also, I’ve had some success with cashcrate. Its a little tricky to make it worth your while, but once you get it, it is helpful.

  21. Minnie Says:

It’s nice to find someone posting legitimate, realistic ways to make a little money online instead of the phony get-rich-quick schemes that are advertised everywhere. The truth is that most people are not going to make tons of money just doing things online, but it is possible to pick up a little extra cash, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

  22. Anand Kumar Jha Says:

All of the first, I found this Blog excellent covering varities of topics.
Secondly regarding google adsense ads, I have these pasted on my several blogs too but unfortunately I am unable to earn revenue. As you have suggested to use Youtube, I would give that a trial too.

Thanks for nice earning ideas indicated here. I have bookmarked it and might be I would be benefited through some of the programs mentioned.

  23. Bryan Says:

I just started using MTurk but it seems to be a great way to spend some time. We will see if it pans out and is actually worth using. I will definitely check out some of these other sites. Thanks for covering this topic, I think it will help a lot of people who are interested in this subject.

  24. Amanda H Says:

I have tried both ad-sense and mturk. The biggest thing I have found is that neither will make you rich overnight. Adsense use to be very very profitable, but like anything, as more people jumped on the bandwagon it became less so. mTurk has potential, but the payouts for jobs are very low. Many are simple, but others can require a lot of time and still only pay pennies.

  25. Nightfall Says:

Ive tried some of the money making sites on the list, but still adsense is my top money maker.

  26. rohit kumar Says:

thanks for this post. It helped me a lot. Btw How you get ideas for such posts. sorry if it’s out of topic.

  27. Derick Jones Says:

According to me, sponsored reviews are a great way to earn extra money from blogs. I have tried affiliate marketing, but have not been able to get anywhere with it.I also write on bukisa and AC. Since you are providing ideas to earn extra money, you might want to check out an online learning marketplace called U-2-Me. I get paid for tutoring online out there. Just thought I would let you know.I did not know about some of these sites, so thanks!
